Hawsons Iron is pleased to share that the results from our recent follow-up drilling program have exceeded expectations. 10 Reverse Circulation (RC) holes and one twin Diamond Drill calibration core hole drilled in late 2023, together with another 11 RC holes drilled this year have further defined the extent, tonnage and grade of shallow magnetite mineralisation in the Fold Zone south and east of the existing mineral resource.
The program successfully targeted additional magnetite from surface to 150 metres with a grade greater than 9 per cent recovered magnetic fraction via Davis Tube Recovery to improve the Hawsons Iron Project’s cash flow during the first few years of operation and potentially extend the mine’s projected life.
